FACE TO FACE WITH CHRISTIAN
Si hablamos de cercanía y comprensión al alumnado, hablamos de Christian. Profesor de Música y Prácticas Comunicativas en Secundaria, Christian intenta transmitir a su alumnado no sólo sus grandes conocimientos acerca de su pasión, la música, si no también dar en cada clase lo mejor de sí mismo para inspirar en los alumnos y alumnas valores como la empatía, el compañerismo y en definitiva ser buenas personas. If we talk about proximity and comprehension with students, we talk about Christian. Teacher of Music and PCC in Secondary, Christian always tries to transmit to his students not only his wide knowledge about his passion, music, but also important values such as empathy, team spirit and to be a good person. No, desafortunadamente no tengo ni hermanos ni hermanas

No, unfortunately I haven’t got any brothers or sisters.
3º¿Cuál era tu asignatura favorita en el colegio?
Creo que era mates ya que tenía un muy buen profesor.
3º What was your favorite subject when you were a child?
I think it was Maths, because I had a really good teacher.
4º ¿Desde pequeño querías ser profesor?
No tenía una idea clara de lo que quería ser, pero creo que lo que más me llamaba la atención era ser periodista.

I didn’t have a clear idea about what I wanted to do for a living, but I think that I wanted to be a journalist.

Bueno, yo siempre tengo que darme un baño con agua totalmente fría.

Well, I always have to take a bath with cold water.

Haciendo pádel que es mi deporte favorito y tocando el piano.

Creo que tengo un humor en donde entra la palabra sarcasmo y me encanta, es el humor que siempre uso.

El tiempo que pasaba con mis abuelos, en nuestra casa de playa, todos mis veranos con ellos.

The time I spent with my grandparents in our beach house, all my summers with them.

Estar con mis abuelos, pasar los veranos con ellos y todos esos momentos.

Spending time with my grandparents, spending summers with them and all those moments.

No tengo idea, a lo mejor haciendo otras cosas o estudiando más.

I haven’t got any idea, maybe doing other things or studying more.

Cualquier tipo de juego en el que se tenga que utilizar dinero, Monopoly o Fin de Mes que existía cuando yo era joven.

Any kind of game in which you have to use money, Monopoly, for example, or Fin de Mes that existed when I was younger.

Thailandia, por supuesto, y a lo mejor países como Dinamarca, Islandia también.

Thailand, of course, and maybe countries like Denmark and Island too.

No lo sé, puede que sea carismático y poderoso en algunos momentos de mi vida.

I don’t know, maybe charismatic and powerful in some moments of my life.

En el colegio Virgen Del Mar, luego en el conservatorio para mi carrera de música.

La gente que no empatiza o no trata de ayudar a los demás.

People who don’t empathise or do not try to help other people.
19º ¿Qué te inspiró a ser profesor de música?
Yo pienso que la música te ayuda a expresarte, inspira a los demás y bueno, creo que es lo mejor que tenemos en nuestra vida.

Because I think that music helps you to express yourself, it inspires others and well, I think it’s the best thing we have in our lives.
20º ¿Cuál es tu estación favorita?
En mi infancia era el invierno, pero ahora prefiero el verano, Canarias creo que es el mejor sitio en donde estar en verano.

In my childhood it was winter but now I prefer summer. I think, Canary Islands are the best place to be in summer.

La edad que estoy viviendo ahora, estos días.

The age that I am living right now, these days.

Si, el pádel, es mi deporte favorito desde hace muchos años y paso mucho tiempo practicándolo.

Pádel, porque, cuando era pequeño, no sabía que tenía tanto talento para ese deporte.
